Expert identifies common SEO errors

An expert in the search engine optimisation (SEO) industry has identified several of the commonest errors made by firms establishing a SEO strategy.
In an article on PromotionWorld.com, NarindaPal Sharma said that search engine submission and creating a flashy website is not enough to create a successful online portal.
She said that it is important to use a standard title, which contains keywords and ideally the company's name.
On the basic web design, Ms Sharma said that many firms opt for overly "flashy" images that cannot be picked up by spiders.
Failing to stick to the guidelines laid out by search engines is another common error, which can result in a website being penalised or removed from a search engine index.
A very basic SEO mistake businesses make is not conducting enough research into the right keywords for their company.
In related news, experts at SearchEngineLand.com recently said that sites with Flash should use keywords within their Flash content.
