B2B SEO professionals should "tweak existing content"

Experts in the sector have advised those involved with business-to-business (B2B) search engine optimisation (SEO) to "tweak" the content already on the site.

It noted that in the current economic climate, it may be advisable to slightly alter some of the content to make it "resonate" more with potential clients, reports SearchEngineLand.com.

The online portal notes that many take a "set it and forget it" approach to SEO but said that during the financial crisis, it makes strong fiscal sense to invest time into the upkeep of a good website.

As well as looking at the way the content relates to the customers, it may also be advisable to improve the way that makes them show up even better in search engine results.

SearchEngineWatch.com recently stated that improving the cosmetic web design of a site at the expense of the SEO could prove to be a "costly mistake".
