Sitesmasher now available

New web design service Sitesmasher, which is hoped to make the lives of developers easier, was released on October 6th.
It utilises a browser-based system and has a simpler design structure, with a totally integrated CMS.
Ron Moravek, Sitesmasher's chief executive officer, said that the new system would enable firms to cut their costs as the drag-and-drop interface would enable developers to cut out some of the coding staff.
Mr Moravek went on to say that usually web design involved dealing with the CMS and the hosting as well as the design. He said the system should take some of the complexity out of web design.
He noted that this form of web design could be particularly beneficial to start-up firms as it makes setting up and maintaining a website simpler.
In related news, Hakia has recently revamped its web design to make its search engine interface easier for consumers to use.
