Bloomberg videos offer 'advertising opportunities'

02/10/2008

AOL Money & Finance will host 20 more video clips from advertisers on its website after agreeing a deal with Bloomberg, it has emerged.

The arrangement will allow marketers to place adverts on both money.aol.com and Bloomberg.com, via AOL's Platform-A marketing tool.

AOL Money & Finance is the first website other than Bloomberg.com to carry the firm's video content.

Marty Moe, senior vice president of AOL Money & Finance, said: "With the addition of Bloomberg to our video portfolio … we can provide users and advertisers a comprehensive and engaging place to get their financial news and information."

AOL's financial channel already included plenty of video content in its website design prior to the Bloomberg deal, including footage from CNBC.

Another Time Warner company, IPC Inspire, recently launched a video channel on its technology website TrustedReviews.com - a move it claimed would offer additional opportunities for advertisers.ADNFCR-1679-ID-18808047-ADNFCR
