The implementation of a new, search engine-friendly website has reaped significant rewards for one Birmingham-based business.

According to the Birmingham Post, Secure Vouchers managed to ramp up its order numbers by launching a new site that took heed of search engine optimisation (SEO) guidelines to make it findable by search engines.

As a result, the company - which sells personalised, ultra-secure vouchers to small and medium-sized businesses - saw enquiries and sales rise as more potential customers from around the world found the website on the internet.

Liz Rowe of e-commerce advisory organisation the National B2B Centre said: "Secure Vouchers [is] a great example of how you can be a big success if you make the most of search engines.

"And then, once they are on your site, you make it as simple as possible for customers to understand and buy your product."
