Google teams up with Family Guy creator

Google has teamed up with the creator of hit animated show Family Guy to distribute a brand new series via the web.
The search engine will use its AdSense program to deliver video clips of Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy to thousands of sites used by the show's target audience, according to the New York Times.
These clips will replace the usual static ads displayed by AdSense and will be aimed at young males to advertise the internet-only show, the newspaper stated.
"What is exciting is that this is a way to monetise the internet immediately," Karl Austen, a lawyer who operated on the scheme, said.
"Instead of creating a website and hoping Seth's fans find it, we are going to push the content to where people are already at."
Earlier this month, Google announced on its Inside AdSense blog that it is making its video units - video players that can be tailored and embedded into websites - available in Australia and Japan.
