Google unveils Ad Planner tool

Google has launched a new tool aimed at aiding the media planning process.

Ad Planner allows professionals to enter the demographics and websites that their target audience are linked with. The application then sends back data about other websites that these users are likely to visit.

The tool also enables advertisers to obtain detailed information related searches, demographics and aggregate site statistics.

Plans can then be created and exported for use within spreadsheet applications, or exported to the DoubleClick MediaVisor tool. Ad Planner is currently available by invitation only.

"We hope you'll find this tool useful and discover many relevant sites - small and large - that would otherwise be hard to find," commented Emel Mutlu on Google's Inside AdWords blog.

The launch comes shortly after the introduction of the Google Trends for Websites tool, which provides visitor statistics for specific websites for free.ADNFCR-1679-ID-18654342-ADNFCR
