24/06/2008

The UK usability and accessibility products and services market has been predicted to surge by 20 per cent to £214 million by the end of the year.

Factors such as the increasing number of companies making commitments to improve website design in order to enhance usability will help the sector to expand significantly in the coming months, the report from E-consultancy suggested.

Linus Gregoriadis, head of research for E-consultancy, explained that the forecast reflects the positive growth of the digital sector in general.

"The agencies and consultancies profiled in this report continue to report high levels of demand for their services while companies recruit and expand their own in-house teams," he added.
