Adobe: new Acrobat Pro to be integrated with Creative Suite

Adobe has announced their new Acrobat 9 Pro software will be integrated into Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 giving designers, web professionals and print service providers new ways to create and deliver content.

Adobe senior vice president of Creative Solutions John Loiacono was pleased at its latest offering.

"Adobe continues to expand its leadership and innovation in PDF to serve designers, developers and content providers," he said.

“With Acrobat 9 we’ve combined the power, reach and richness of two ubiquitous technologies, Adobe Flash and PDF, to empower customers to create engaging experiences, prepare high-quality PDF files and collaborate more efficiently."

Designers can use Acrobat 9 Pro to combine PDF files, video, audio and other documents into PDF Portfolios.

The software will run Mac OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5 on Intel-based systems and Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista and will begin shipping in July 2008.
