Head Of Search

Contract: Permanent

Our search engine optimisation team is expanding rapidly. We require an experienced Head of Search to work on an array of projects and campaigns for a variety of clients.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of search engine optimisation best practises including:

  • Code mark up, page structure and importance of clean, well stuctured code. 
  • Link strategies including social linking, directory submissions, competitor research etc. 
  • Keyword research using relevant tools and own research. 
  • Thorough understanding of Google Analytics & how to apply the information to improving and driving forward search campaigns. 
  • Creating, monitoring and maintaining PPC campaigns in Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing (Overture) and others. 
  • Managing our existing team & organising workloads. Providing mentoring & support. 
  • Client liaison 
  • Reporting and analysis of campaigns to monitor success and highlight new opportunities. 
  • A well rounded knowledge of social media & web 2.0 for the benefit of SEO.

Your experience will mean you are confident of managing an existing team, balancing workloads, ensuring targets are met & fulfill the expectations of our clients. You will join the existing management team to provide strategic direction within the search optimisation & paid search marketplace. As the team continues to develop, you will be required to undertake recruitment of the best & most promising candidates available.
